Positive / Negative bird

 For this drawing, we had to learn between positive and negative spaces. When there are positive spaces in a drawing then there are certainly negative spaces. Without a positive shape you won’t have a negative shape,in a simpler way a positive shape automatically creates a negative shape. The main purpose of this assignment was to identify objectives as physical matter shapes rather than oral images. Furthermore to understand the shapes and spaces and spaces around an object, it helps us think what was the drawing really means. The negative spaces are around and behind the positive spaces; they are blank spaces around the positive spaces, whereas positive spaces are those spaces in the main subject of the work. I used contour lining for the gird and the media is positive and negative shading. Two of the elements of design, space and shape, were used in this assignment. I used the value of both dark and light because of several shading and to give more life to the drawing.
